I know this might be an extreme request, but how about a junior version with say Eleanor Dean, Liam Broady, Oliver Golding etc. I will understand if it may be too much work though.
I think it would be very difficult with someone like Eleanor Dean, not 16 until this coming Friday, to have much idea of what her junior and senior schedule will be like this year.
One thing that does really interest me is how the top male teenagers are going to do this year, which is why I was half thinking about doing a ranking compeition for the GB men top 20, before laziness took over, plus better left to these that have the technology against my generally manual toils
Maybe could have a mini competition with the top 1992 to 1994 born boys, eg. Broady, Golding, Morgan, Burton and Marsalek ?

Surprised to see so many people suggesting Mel will fall when she has precisely 15 points to defend before the grass season. I confidently predict this will be a year of rising for Ms South! Some positivity please!
I certainly don't think Mel will retire, as she can still play doubles even if her singles form continues to disappoint. I do agree with jb to some extent. I think that she can't fall any further, I'm just not so sure she is going to start climbing either. Needs to rediscover her weapons and not rely on pure consistency and rallying the ball back.
Yes, really hope that Mel can refind some of these things that she's clearly lost in her game the last year or two, and I am sure folk generally wish her nothing but well for the coming year.
But ultimately, this is a prediction competition thread rather than a let's be positive thread so folk will no doubt just say what they honestly think.
