why would it be attached to activeboard? admittedly the original messageboard was on activeboard.... or it must be because this site is activeboard... something strange...

If you post a www link without the http:// behind it then the server will automatically assume that you're linking to a page which is part of the activeboard network

It would be great if she did well in the juniors but, ultimately, she'll be judged on her senior results and I shall be hoping for some decent movement deep into the top 1000 in 2007.
i agree... i was rather dissapointed too. her highest ranking is nearly 200 places above her current one, and her last years year end ranking was only 10 or so places lower than her current one.... next year though, as her consistency improves she'll rise higher... i spoke to her coach once, he says that she basically beats herself more often than not... her game is a joy to behold....
and thanks for the welcome RobC
I agree, I've been quite surprised at Jade's results since August. After that great showing at the US Open and beating Radwanska, I thought that she was all set for a great finish to the year but since then she's been struggling in G2 and G4 junior tournaments ! I've wondered if she's been injured as since the Kentucky Derby at the beginning of September she didn't play again for 6 weeks. That would explain things, maybe she played the G2 and G4 tourneys to get back into playing competitive matches.
I also think that now she should be concentrating mainly on the senior circuit and basically forget junior events apart from a few GAs and G1s and the slams. Yasmin Clarke and Naomi Cavaday have done so. It was a real shame that she didn't play any of the the womens 10K and 25K tournaments in Britain this autumn. She's going to improve a lot faster playing on the senior circuit and she would have had a chance to get her ranking up into the top 700 by the end of 2006 which is where she belongs.
