Ah, pity Oli couldn't get rather more than 3 points out of his Turkish 3 weeks.
I got the impression his game was in a decent state to have certainly got a few more given a few breaks.
However, still to an extend a learning experience and no great shakes in the grand scheme of things.
Next year going to be a very important one as he wll seek real progress up the rankings. I read him saying a few weeks ago that WR 350 was a kind of target and that seems reasonable to me.

I think he's still got one more week left in Turkey.
Jammy Marko Djokovic: not only did he qualify, but he ended up playing a more highly ranked LL in the first round (Andrei Gorban) & proceeded to beat him by 7-6(3) 1-6 4-2 retired!
R1: (4) Oliver Golding & Jean-René Lisnard (MON) WR 1394 lost to Antonio Comporto & Riccardo Sinicropi (ITA/ITA) WR 2148 by 7-6(8) 5-7 [7-10]
I thought they might just manage to turn it round after they came back from *2-5 in the second set & had a mini-break in the MTB, but I guess it just wasn't to be.
