Steven @ 10.17 GMT - Vandenbulcke got one break back but Oli broke again to win the match 4 & 3
Oli won by 3 & 3 according to the ITF!
I immediately assumed I must have made a typo, but then after noticing that I said 6-4 in the 1st more than once and said the same on Twitter, I checked the detailed results on bet365 and it definitely went to 19 games, i.e. they paid out on the 19th game and the 20th was the first "non-runner".
So I'm convinced it's wrong on the ITF and ATP drawsheets, no doubt one with the original error and the other one copied from it.
Not that one game in a 10K qualifying match scoreline matters much, but it's interesting (if that's the right word!) to know that even the ITF and ATP drawsheets agree, they can both be wrong.

And it looks suspiciously as though Oli may have the Indian sign on him: he's just beaten him by 6-4 7-6(3)!
I don't want to appear too pernickety but I think you need to win more than one match against someone before you can have any pretensions to having the Indian Sign over them. Oli lost to Coco last week.

Good to turn it round the next week
Oops! You're quite right, Indy, & so he did! I couldn't remember that far back & was too lazy actually to check. He obviously learnt a lesson or two last week, though. And he's got a fellow qualifier in the next round, so must have a fair chance of a quarter-final place:
R2: (Q) Moritz Baumann (GER) WR 810 vs (Q) Oli Golding WR 710
R1: Joris de Loore (BEL) & Oli Golding WR 1853 defeated Gleb Alekseenko & Vadim Alekseenko (UKR/UKR) WR 1370 by 7-6(5) 2-6 [10-8]
*****
QF: (3) Paris Gemouchidis & Vaja Uzakov (GRE/UZB) WR 1109 vs Joris de Loore (BEL) & Oli Golding WR 1853
Gemouchidis & Uzakov were seeded three & lost to Oli & Jack Carpenter in the QF last week, so Oli should have a few useful tips for his partner this week.
