RE: Week 47 Futures - Czech Republic F5 ($15K) - Opava - Carpet

Oh dear, was fancying Josh to go all the way this week  cry

Should Arsenal fans be getting concerned about Robin van Persie later today ?  hmm

Konecny does the double over Josh (must have some kind of Indian sign on him, though no doubt the organisers will be ecstatic! disbelief ):

SF:  Michal Konecny & Leonard Stakhovsky (CZE/UKR) WR 1367 defeated  (3) Daniel Glancy (IRL) & Josh Goodall WR 699 by 1 & 3 bleh

Some decent banter between Josh & Wardy this afternoon - good enough to be worth pasting:

JG: "WHAT A LAST 6MONTHS! IM COMIN HOME! fingers X for aussy, cud not of asked more of myself since June. Have a ice cold cider waiting for me"

JW: "James Ward @joshuagoodall coming home?! Pretty sure uve played most of the year in gb no??"

JG: "@JamesWardtennis correct me if I'm wrong but aren't 60% of ur points from England? ;)"

JW: "@joshuagoodall well you are wrong....work it out properly and come back to me!!"

<the actual %s of points won in the UK this year are 33% for James & 76% for Josh, though they all count, so ...>

JG: "@JamesWardtennis not that interested as u are mate... When ur career prize money reaches mine come bk to me."

<Josh (who had a couple of years start) leads $349K-$297K>

JW: "@joshuagoodall I prefer to look at this years......haha"

<James has won that one $119K-$23K, or possibly nearer $24K after this week>

They ought to have a friendly bet on who'll reach $400K career earnings first - another year like this year would get James there (though the Queen's bonanza will be hard to repeat even if he ends next year with more points), while if Josh kicks on and does well in slam qualifying or Challengers, he could get there too.

Needless to say, tweeting those %s generated a put-down from Josh LOL

"@GBtennis lol u need to get out more!"

I can't argue with that. Well, actually, I could argue with it but I can't be bothered

Poor Josh.  Loses his match,  Arsenal don't beat Fulham at home, and he gets fairly ripped by Wardy in the tweet exchange.

He's not worried about Arsenal; he's a Chelski fan. Wardy on the other hand is a Gooner.

Oh OK, I got that wrong.  I knew he was into his football and though it was Arsenal with that tweet about seeing the ball like Robin van Persie when he won well  ashamed
