Week 47 Futures - Australia F13 ($15K) - Bendigo - Hard

L32: Richard Gabb WR 928 v (6) Isaac Frost (AUS) WR 473
L32: Toby Martin WR 938 v (WC) Luke Saville (AUS) UNR

Saville may be unranked, but he's the player who beat Liam Broady in the junior Wimbledon Final and current world junior no. 2.

L32: Toby Martin WR 938 lost to (WC) Luke Saville (AUS) UNR by 4 & 4 bleh

A rankings upset, but hardly an unexpected one.

L32 Richard Gabb (GBR) d [6] Isaac Frost (AUS) 3-6 6-4 6-2

Cracking result for Richard on what hasn't been a very successful tour so far.

Excellent result for Richard!    It may not have been a particularly successful tour for either him or Toby up to now, but between them, they've been making a bit of a habit of unexpectedly dumping out seeds! wink

Don't think you can say it's not been a successful tour for Toby Martin.

Toby has made two QFs + five 2nd rounds in Oz.  He'd only ever earned 4 ranking points before this Australian tour.

Not too surprising but still a pity - Saville completes the double Brit bash:

L16: Richard Gabb WR 928 lost to (WC) Luke Saville (AUS) UNR by 4 & 4 bleh
