The match has disappeared from Bet365. I wonder if Josh has retired?

That is Alex's second Futures title (the first was on 1 Oct) and his first 15K. It should lift him to a career high of around WR 350 (possibly just inside the top 350) on 28 November and to GB no. 7 ahead of Eaton and Milton unless the latter wins two more rounds in Helsinki.

That's a very creative spelling of "spasms"!

P.S.  Well done, Alex!

Oh,  err  well done  smile    and hard luck  cry

Great to see Alex getting another title and only Evo now going to be ahead of him in the rankings from the 89 / 80 guys, with Evo's current ranking points total of 125 points being just a little ahead of Alex's points of 120 ( on Monday week ).

Josh has done really well to get himself into a position of having a realistic chance of getting into the Aussie Open qualifiers. Probably does need to do really well next week ( I'm not sure what remaining chances he has ).  The title would take him to 186 ranking points which is currently equivalent to about WR 260 and from a very reliable source, speaking the other day with regards to Jamie Baker, we have  :

This year, the original cut for AO qualifying was 255, moving out eventually to 287, so Jamie should have already done enough to get into qualifying straight away, or at worst after a few withdrawals.

However that falls out though, Josh like Jamie, has had a relatively really strong second half to this year, which gives both a chance to significantly improve their rankings in the first half of next year.
