Not really a huge surprise - Paukku isn't ranked much lower than Dan, has been ranked higher, and had won their previous match in 3 sets too. A pity though, definitely.

Unfortunately not. I'm sure I could've found odds somewhere, but as Bet365 weren't covering that particular court then I couldn't place a bet with them.

Alex's next opponent Pavlasek is a top 30 junior who has suffered quite heavily at the hands of Brits in the top junior events this year - he lost to Kyle Edmund at the Copa Gerdau, to Oli Golding at the Canadian Open and to George Morgan at the USO.
