Well done Boggo. He's bound to get Baker in the main draw as he's like a magnet to top seeds!
A 1 in 4 chance but it always felt like a certainty ...
Jamie on twitter: "Battle of britain tomorrow in champaign. Baker vs Bogdanovic. No easy draws in this tourney. Last match of 2011 for one of us!"
L32: Jamie Baker WR 252 v (Q) Alex Bogdanovic WR 319
H2H is 2-0 to Boggo, a 3-setter at Queen's in 2007 and a straight sets win in Little Rock this year. There have been 3 tiebreaks in the 5 setsthey have played.

It's not only for his calm wins that we call him Alex 'Never In Doubt' Bogdanovic, it's also his propensity to get the duffest draw possible, although Klaasen is taking it one stage further right now.
Steven think your rankings are a bit off, JB is 246 now, hoping Boggo can come out on top, well cause i always do, but obviously JB had a good week last week so it's Bogmans turn :)

Doh! I read Josh Goodall's ranking off my table instead. Easily done, but can't believe it didn't dawn on me that it couldn't be right before I posted. That 2 am (or whenever it was) effect, I guess.
He's not WR 246 though, he's 252 - that's a case of the ATP sneakily taking you to the year-to-date rankings when you hit on the main ranking link. It's even more confusing given that having done that 2-3 weeks ago, they reverted back to having the main link take you to the actual rankings last week before switching it back to go to YTD again yesterday.

Don't expect a lot from Jamie this week. He will have to pull out from the quarters on due to him playing in a big exhibition in Florida and getting some nice $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Jamie took a couple of days off to let his stomach muscle heal. He's been playing a little golf and recently he bought a guitar and he's been teaching himself how to play. I'm sure I'll talk to him today and will shoot back some of our conversation. Take care everyone.
