He seems to be more determined than ever this week - particularly amazing if he's a bit injured to fight through that close 2nd set after being blown away in the 1st. Let's hope it won't end up being for nothing ... Brian already has a bp in the 3rd.

Just looking at the stats, Brian appears to have been overall pretty much on top, 5 breaks to 3, 100 points overall to 80.
So Jamie looks to have fought a pretty good match there to be just a break back from effectively being level at the conclusion of thee 3rd set.
From what Steven was saying earlier about Brian's results since his 2nd coming began and his results here this week, it won't be long before he is considerably higher up the rankings. with his current ranking being no sort of indicator of his abiliities.
Overall a really good week for Jamie. Hopefully that stomach muscle problem didn't effect him too much tonight and again that he gets it cleared up before too long.

Pity, but he's got to be proud of what he has achieved this week - and the other Baker (who beat Baggy and Tsonga to reach the RG junior Final and once beat Nole in Adelaide qualifying, so is no slouch!) has been on quite a roll since he made his comeback. Indeed, the fact that his one loss in 19 matches was 2 & 2 to Boggo makes Alex look pretty good!
