With the form that Anne is now showing I wonder if she will be tempted to play in the $75K in Dubai at the end of the month.

Would she be up to it physically, Peter, or have I misconstrued one or two comments on this thread about her being "patched up"? confuse

My comments re 'patching up' were purely speculative. I just assumed her body has taken alot of punishment in such a long run of matches, together with her known niggles of hip and knees (I think).  No way could she be pain free  and has to have been running on confidence and adrenaline to some extent.

What interests me the most is how high this new 'Special K 2.0' that has been unleashed on the tour like a pack of dogs in a butchers will go.

The form she showed before tearing her A?CL was top 50 stuff and I would argue she has got back to that level after a shaky comeback, so with a lot of average results to fill, surely her career high could be in danger in the first half of next season?

Well done Anne. What is her career high?
It would be cool to have three Brits in the top 50.

48 to Bally's 49 (Elena would have matched it had she won the Nantes Final)

Brilliant few weeks from Anne. I hope her and Bally can qualify outright for the Olympics. They would deserve it for their services to British tennis over the years.

Anne: "Head wants to keep going but body needs a break."
