2 breaks points have gone begging in this game so far.

A third break point, gifted to him by a DF from IVDM (including a Foot Fault), goes begging, before Izak gets another match point which JB saves.

does anyone else read the bettor match reports?

eg: http://blogs.bettor.com/Alex-Bogdanovic-upsets-Uladzimir-Ignatik-in-1st-round-Charlottesville-Challenger-2011-a108803

they are written as if the person was watching as occasionally they have details of a specific shot, but often get other facts about breaks etc wrong. plus they seem like they've been run through a translator program :)

very odd, but i guess it's better than nothing.

Delic up next whilst Jenikins also continued his run beating duclos 62 75, although he actually served for it at 62 52 at one point

Boggo's H2H v Delic is 2-2, all in 2005-7, once in a Challenger, the other three times in ATP/slam qualifying. Alex won the last two.

R1:  (4) John Paul Fruttero & Raven Klaasen (USA/RSA) defeated (ALT) Roman Borvanov & Nima Roshan (MDA/AUS) by 2 & 4

The fourth seeds were down to play Chris Eaton & Carsten Ball in the first round, so I guess that one or other of them sustained an injury (Ball went out in three sets to the "Big Jesse" Levine yesterday, so perhaps it was he who succumbed). cry

QF:  (WC) Treat Conrad Huey (PHI) & Dominic Inglot vs Rik de Voest & Izak van der Merwe (RSA/RSA)

The South Africans, who saw off Parrott & Reynolds, the third seeds, in the first round, served for the first set at 5-3, but Dom & partner recovered the break, then Dom double-faulted at 40-40 & the South Africans took the set by 6-4. hmm
