Let's hope they can succeed tomorrow where J&J failed yesterday.

Better start for Colin & Ross than yesterday:  they take the first set by 6-3 (&, I think, two service breaks to one - they surrendered an early break! hmm ). smile

Cerretani & Marx take the second set by the same score, so squeaky bum time once again! hmm

Phew!  Another "brow-mopper", but Colin & Ross prevail by 6-3 3-6 [10-4]. smile

Cermak & Polasek (1) or Granollers & Riba in the semi.

A break to 15 in the 10th game gives Colin & Ross the first set 6-4

An uneventful opening set ends with Colin and Ross breaking Polasek to 15 to take the opening set 6-4.

Still not even a sniff of a chance for either pair in 2nd set

Colin/Ross 6-4 3*-3

Colin hits his three best returns of the match and they break in the 10th game again to win 6-4 6-4.

They have a splendid knack of striking at the right moment tonight - again the tenth game gives them the decisive break, to make their first ATP Tour final together

Great stuff

Either Kohlman/Waske or Elgin/Kudryravstev (who beat 2nd seeds) in final

Super result, well done guys. Take a well-earned rest tomorrow and come out fighting fit for the final.

I'll second that!     My heart said they could do it, but my head wouldn't let me believe...

F:  (3) Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins vs (WC) Mikhail Elgin & Alexander Kudryavtsev (RUS/RUS)

Hardly dared believe I'd be typing a line like that when I started this thread last Sunday! biggrin

Funnily enough, Colin and Ross played these two in a Final (and beat them) 51 weeks ago - but back then it was the Astana Challenger Final, not a main tour Final. Since then they have lost to them in Pingguo but won their last meeting in Nottingham.

Thanks for pointing that out, Steven.  I had a feeling the two pairs had "previous", but I just couldn't be @rsed to check! wink
