Some nice wins here for Mr Willis. Looks as though the lone bastion of negative delta-dom in the bottom part of Steven's table (left-hand columns) may be about to disappear. Good stuff. And how lovely that there are all those positive advances in that part of the table. All very encouraging.

Well done, that man! biggrin  Great win for him.   Gawron, the only remaining seed (7), in the semi.

Marcus not so lucky in the doubles, but still an all-Brit final wink :

SF:  (1) Marcin Gawron & Grzegorz Panfil (POL/POL) WR 818 lost to (3) Oli Golding & Sean Thornley WR 999 by 3 & 2 biggrin

SF:  (4) Josh Milton & Marcus Willis WR 1011 lost to Dan Cox & Dan Smethurst WR 1173 by 6-2 3-6 [4-10]

Sean has a chance to draw level with Dave, who has won 9 doubles titles to Sean's 8 so far this year after teaming up with Brydolf in week 4.

Great to see Bloomers recover to end Arnaboldi's 7-match winning streak and to see Marcus break his 5 Futures QF losing streak to reach his first semi since Kos just over a year ago The boys have been having a good bit of light-hearted banter on Twitter tonight about 'malnourished' Marcus and need for more food to keep up this kind of form. LOL I do wonder how well he'd be doing if he managed to play as many tournaments and was able to keep the consistency up. Anyway:

QF: Marcus Willis WR 755 beat Gregorz Panfil (POL) WR 420 by 3 & 2 biggrin
QF: Josh Milton WR 378 lost to (7) Marcin Gawron (POL) WR 337 by 1 & 4 cry
QF: Richard Bloomfield WR 515 beat (2) Andrea Arnaboldi (ITA) WR 248 by 6-7(6) 7-5 6-4 biggrin

SF: Marcus Willis WR 755 v Jan Minar (CZE) WR 719 (CH 177 in 2008)
SF: Richard Bloomfield WR 515 v (7) Marcin Gawron (POL) WR 337 (CH 262 in July)

And perhaps this vindicates Marcus's decision to play British Tour last week rather than Glasgow

Bet365 appear planned to cover Willis Minar match but not Bloomfield Gawron, I wonder why? What a shame! Anyone there today?
It was interesting watching the odds swing like a pendulum yesterday.
