Tara lost to Meusburger by 4-6 6-3 4-6 - after battling back from 0-5 in the third, according to LTA Twitter!   Heart-breaking! bleh

A strange match. In the end it boiled down to Tara's error percentage. She was 4-0 down in the first set due to numerous errors only to draw level at 4-4. Sadly she lost the next 2 games to lose the set 6-4. She was like a tiger in the second to win 6-3. Sadly the errors crept in again and she found herself 0-5 down. At one point she remonstrated with herself that she couldn't do anything right. She was right, She could not even return the service balls to the Austrian without hitting the net! But she rallied as in the first set and came back to 4-5. She had chances to level on the Austrians serve before Meusburger edged it out and won the match.

A good week for Tara though. She is a gutsy player who has beaten women far above her ranking. If she can cut down on the spells where errors creep in she should climb much higher in the rankings.
