That's his 5th Futures singles title of the year and he has won 18 of his last 19 Futures singles matches

That win also makes Josh provisional GB no. 4 on 31 Oct ahead of Boggo and will almost certainly lift him back into the ATP top 300.

Good efford Dan...what's his ranking will be?

When the semi final points added for the two Dans,  their rankings a week on Monday, 31/10 :

Dan Evans - about WR 333,   Dan Cox - about WR 363

Very well done to Josh on his continued good results, and as Steven says that should be him back into the top 300 for the first time since May 2010.

A close match with Josh winning the key points. Minar played quietly and steadily while Josh was more agressive when it mattered. Well done.

I saw some of the other matches this week. Dan Evans still looks a cut above the pack. In his matches with Dan Smethurst and then with Josh Milton he was down 3-5 in the first set. He kept his cool and stepped up his game while both his opponents tensed up and literally through the match away. Josh Goodall was very strong in the earlier rounds and Dan Cox also played well and seems to be improving. If only some of them could get up to regular challenger level!
