Minar's still going strong:  he beat Sam Barry by 6-3 1-6 6-2 & so:

SF:  Jan Minar (LTA Twitter thinks he's called Pinar! disbelief ) (CZE) WR 718 vs (7) Dan Cox WR 382

56 minutes ago, according to LTA Twitter, Dan & Jan were a set all.  The match must have finished by now, but no b*gger's bothered to post the result! furious

I wonder if Minar was deceptively strong, or deceptively weak?

I hope Dan wasn't spending too much time pondering that question  wink

i was there earlier this week saw Milton against Evans. Milton received a bad call then spent about 10 minutes arguing with the umpire between change of ends Evans certainly more talented of two. I think Josh has reached a pleateau. Spent too much time oggling and snuggling up to one of the girls! Perhaps tennis last thing on his mind! lol. Agree Goodall has refocused and good on him he looks lean and mean and stands out as best British player entered. coxy hard to tell the FRench GUY was not very good on Thursday decidely average i would say

Was that Mr Fitzpatrick's first final? If so (or indeed, even if not) congratulations.

He won the doubles at Ilkley in 2010, partnering Josh Goodall.

Also reached the doubles final of a British futures in 2008.
