That's an excellent win for Julian in his first ITF event outside the UK. He's had a very good year on the Tennis Europe under 16 circuit, and pleasing to see that being translated effectively here.

Another superb day, leaving just one non-Brit in the quarter-finals - quite extraordinary for an event on the other side of the world. It means that out of the 8 Brits only top seed Scott Clayton is yet to score enough points here for the tournament to be included as one of their six best. He needs to beat Jonny tomorrow to gain points - Jonny though won their previous match in the Edinburgh final 3 months ago.

3rd Round

(1) Scott Clayton (GBR) d. (14) Ahmed Deedat Abdul Razak (MAS) 7-6(4) 7-6(3)
(10) Jonny O'Mara (GBR) d. (6) Adriaan Du Toit (RSA) 6-3 7-6(2)
Julian Cash (GBR) d. (13) Roman Hassanov (KAZ) 6-3 6-7(3) 6-2
(8) Peter Ashley (GBR) d. (11) Zhuo Zhang (CHN) 7-6(5) 7-6 (4)
(9) Clay Crawford (GBR) d. (5) Aman Agarwal (IND) 6-3 6-4
(4) Toby Mitchell (GBR) d. (15) Armando C. Soemarno (INA) (15) 6-2 6-2
(12) Joshua Sapwell (GBR) d. (7) Alexander Sendegeya (GBR) 3-6 6-1 6-2

QF

(1) Scott Clayton (GBR) v (10) Jonny O'Mara (GBR)
Julian Cash (GBR) v (8) Peter Ashley (GBR)
(9) Clay Crawford (GBR) v (4) Toby Mitchell (GBR)
(12) Joshua Sapwell (GBR) v (16) Aoran Wang (CHN)

Hi guys, yep survival of the fittest at the moment out there! Jonny been hit pretty bad- first I think, and looks like its working its way through everybody! s'pose to be expected but must be very tough to try and play top class tennis straight from the loo!.

hopefully they'll get it out of their system for the next leg of the tour
