WOW, even if Rus was rushing to get away, still looks like a top performance, maybe Naomi should play more of these WTA events.

Finally managed to check scores on my iPhone & had to rush back home to a proper computer to make sure I wasn't seeing things LOL ... however Rus was playing (and looking at the match stats, it looks more like an off day on a surface that doesn't suit her than a tanking), that is a wonderful win and a stunning scoreline for Naomi

Missed this result whilst watching the rugby and following Laura's match but that is a brilliant result for Naomi. Her recent results must now give her the confidence to go on and beat more top 100 players.

Anna Tatishvili retired from her match with Aleksandra Wozniak, bizarrely reversing the situation in the last match they played (Wozniak's last match, when she retired) so it is the tough Canadian (former WR21) who will be Naomi's next opponent
