I'm starting a new thread to see if people can/want to meetup with others on the board at tournaments.
A few of us went to Shrewsbury this week, but didn't get together, and from my perspective, it would have been nice to have done so and said thanks to Jules for her updates.
I'm hoping to go to Wrexham this week for the AEGON British tour. If there's anyone else interested in meeting up, or at any other events with their forum buddies. Please post here.
Don't think I'll be going to Wrexham and I just looked at the distance to Barnstaple. Thought I might take a train, but it's over 5 hours !!!
It's a long way off, but I do always go to Birmingham and would love to meet up with others there.
Oh, and there's the small matter of 02 and the ATP tour finals. Quite a few of us get there on one day or another it seems. I always seem to be next to someone cheering for the 'other' guy !!!!
The O2 tickets aren't the best value tennis tickets you can get (probably the worst, in fact!) but it's still well worth doing if you can get to it and afford it
The sessions with viagogo underneath them are sold out and you can only buy tickets off people who already have them and want to sell them, but that only applies to the afternoon session on the first Sunday (which has included a Murray match the last two years, if I remember right - I was at both matches so I probably do remember right!), the semis and the Final.
The other sessions (one doubles match and one singles match per session) all seem to have at least a few tickets left still have tickets available - the cost per full price ticket is £ 63 in the front section, £ 36 in the vertigo-unfriendly top section, with all seats (particularly in the front section) having decent views.
I can't go to the Final this year (last year, I ended up wishing I'd gone to the semis instead!), so I got tickets for the afternoon session on the first Sunday and both semis when they first came out, figuring (correctly, it seems) that I'd be able to get tickets for a midweek session nearer the time if I wanted to and/or sell on the tickets I've got if something came up that stopped me going (hopefully not!)
You definitely get much better value at Shrewsbury but the WTF is well worth experiencing before another city nabs it!

I can't get to Wrexham this week because of work :( however I definitely intend to go to Edgbaston next year and possibly anything that's held at Nottingham too!
