oli gets broken again. but on the plus side he might be on the verge of a new racket throwing record. tbf, nieminen has played a lot better in the last two sets.
went down with a whimper in the end. too frustrated to get his head back in the games, it seemed.
smet has broken george 5-3*

The question is how to give British players some balls. It seem like a common problem.
I just don't think it is particularly. They lose matches they were winning, they win matches they were losing, just like tennis players all round the world.
Be great if they all had brilliant mindserts to see out matches that they were ahead in, but they don't and also the opponents sometimes have rather a say in matters.

From Oli - "Played a good first 4 games and then played very very badly after that and lost 61 36 16 !" #notahappybunny
Helen40 - I'm afraid there's so much info to fit on those tables that it can be quite hard to find stuff like that the first time you look for it, but there is a link to the Falun live streams towards the top right of the page with the GB top 25 table on it - for future reference that's where live score/stream links always go, though I only post links like that when it's likely to be valid all week, not for one-off streamed matches - you'll tend to find links to one-off live streams in the relevant threads and I tweet them from @gbtennis if I remember.

Disappointing that Oli couldn't keep up his early apparent very good play.
To be fair Nieminen is a relatively pretty highly ranked opponent, but clearly Oli is not happy himself.
He definitely does have the ability to deliver more on the circuit than he has, though I do think he has a fair bit of maturing still to do, and that was probably further evidenced today.
