There's a fair bit of banter between Oli, Dan and Alex on Twitter. It's all good fun stuff and you get the impression they all get on pretty well, which is nice considering they are often pitched against each other in battle.

I watched the largest part of the first two sets of Alex's match today.  I was not that impressed by Timo in the first set. He made many  unforced errors, and also missed quite a lot when only under moderate pressure.   I thought Alex would run out a winner in not much more than an hour, but he most certainly had a lapse in concentration and his error count in the second set was high.  Timo was only being slightly more consistent.

 

Anyway, in the end  ir was a significant win!  Good luck in the final!

I haven't been watching for long but they look quite evenly matched and Alex is really going for it, but missing the lines a bit too often.
