Brilliant win from Dan - wonderful to watch how cool he was on most of the big points (though I wish I was there watching instead of being stuck at home ill looking at a live stream!)
It's the first Davis Cup singles live rubber win at Group 1 level or above for a Brit other than Andy, Tim or Greg for 15 years (Andrew Richardson v ZIM in 1997), since all of Wardy's wins have been in Group 2, and Lacko has now lost the last 5 sets he has played in Glasgow
Dan has undoubtedly matured generally since Vilnius, but how much better must it be seeing the calm, positive Leon Smith at changeovers than a DC captain who gives every impression that he has already given up on you and is lining you up to be his next scapeGOAT ...
Muzz missing this tie is now beginning to look like a masterstroke for GB's medium term (whether we end up winning the tie or not) too
