Thats tremendous stuff that Naomi and Jo rose to the tough challenges given to them, and that now gives them a chance to move on to really significant points this week. I do see though that a certain Miss Watson is in Naomi's quarter. Hope we see a Watson vs Broady QF, and indeed the winner playing Jo in the SF.

Good to see Heather awake enough to get through her 1st round  smile  Another round and she covers her points from last year, and incidentally now that she's reached R2 she just has to match Anne's progress this week to retain her GB No 2 position.

So happy about those results, time for JoKo to crack on and fulfil her immense potential.
Even a half asleep Hev far too good for her opponent today, and Naomi what can you say, just huge that win.

Just wondered JC, is there a power point there for recharging laptops?

A great performance from Nicola to even be in a 3rd set tie break - fingers crossed.

Sadly, it wasn't to be .Think it was 7 - 6 (2) in the third.  (She was 5 -2 in games up at one point in that set)
