As well as this week consolidating her GB no 2 singles position and with further progress quite likely beating her CH of 93, Heather has now gone to GB No 2 in the doubles ( would have gone no 1 if she had won today ), behind Anne, and up to a probable CH of around 167.

They way I look at it is if you are in any doubt just go, you won't regret it.

Right, I'm home. Before I went to work I did a quick google Bristol to Shrewbury and read 88miles and thought "hmmm, that's not too bad". But in my car, the sat nav did a more precise calculation and it was 125m. Sheeesh. That's gonna be £50 petrol. I may still wake up tomorrow and say what the hey but we'll see. I also hear it's first come first serve. The last thing you want is to get there and not find a good view. Ooooh, decisions, decisions. lol

I doubt there'll be a problem getting in the LTA just doesn't advertise these events, certainly not on a Friday. If you are coming from central Bristol its probably a max of 2hours 10minutes driving at the legal limit, assuming no major roadworks.

Well, I saw Hev last year letting Mirza lose to her. I really wanted to see Anne and Naomi but they're both out, so not so much into it. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
