Oli & Alex couldn't quite turn it round:  they took the second set by 6-3 to level the match, but lost the MTB by 7-10. cry  Lewis & George are about to serve for the second set at *5-2.

(Relatively) easy peasy for Lewis & George in the MTB. smile  They take the match by 4-6 6-2 [10-7] & will play Blomgren & Brunström in the final. Shame it couldn't be an all-Brit final! hmm

Although George hasn't played Tobias before in ITFs Oli played him 3 times in Juniors, winning his first title against him before losing his next final - so hopefully he can offer George some tips. George struggles for consistency, but has the encouraging knack of going deep in tournaments when he does string a couple of wins together - which is the key to ranking progress in Futures, with the points heavily skewed.

The semis here have just started, both 1-1 in the 1st set - 2 holds in George's match, 2 breaks in Alex's.

I think I saw Alex a break up at one point, but he eventually lost the first-set tie-break by 5-7. hmm  George *5-6 (had a BP in that eleventh game).

I must say, I'm mightily impressed by the live score service provided by the Swedish Association.   If the Swedes can do it, why can't the bloody LTA? evileye

Oh dear, George is 2 break/set points down - saves 1, but not the second

I must admit, I wasn't expecting these semis to be that tough - Firmin didn't seem to have much form at all. Still, plenty of time to come back.
