Week 37 Futures - Sweden F4 ($10,000) - Uppsala (Hard)

And he's home & dry by 3 & 4! biggrin  Well done, that man!   An unseeded Swiss, Sandro Ehrat (WR 808), or a Swedish qualifier, Kalle Averfalk (1400), in the semi. wink

Great to see from Lewis  smile

I had the feeling Lewis didn't seem to be getting results latterly as a junior that many folk expected.  But he seems now to have developed his game and be adapting really well to seniors, and by all accounts does have weapons to his game.  Very good to see.

QF:  Sandro Ehrat (SUI) WR 809 vs Lewis Burton WR 811

On the evidence of their respective rankings, they're evenly matched...

I assume the doubles final was after the Lewis singles semi ( and it was the semi, I got a bit confused by some posts above )  that he retired from,  in which case would certainly appear to be nothing serious.  Pity he lost both matches though.

Lewis just tweeted that he slept badly on his neck and that's what caused the problem (all too easy to do and what terrible timing!) but hopes to be playing next week.
