Boggo win 2+4. Stats were incredibly similar aside from (as Steven suggested from 1st set) the 1st serve percentages, and also the break point conversions (3/4 Alex, 0/3 Sock)
bit of an odd looking OOP today, wonder what else is going on there, but Eaton 1st up at 10am local, Boggo gets a day off. Bains, Watling and Eaton all in dubs action late afternoon.
Edit: TMS do you live over that way or are you just on Holiday? for some reason i got the impression you were in france.

As i said b4 this event is a odd one, pretty weak save for the top 4 guys, bit of a gap quality wise between them and the rest (with the bogmeister being the obvious exception there )
is it common to see a gap of 155 places separately the top and 8th seed at a challenger? perhaps you should compare the 2nd seed and the 8th as you do get 'ringers' from time to time.
2-5 now, serving to stay in it.

what is surely most disappointing is that Chris only won a staggering 34% on his 1st serve, despite getting 79% in. Was he S&V everything and just kept getting passed? he won 67% on his 2nd serve though, to me the kinda smacks of a bad game plan. he broke Bobby twice as well so only held serve twice!!

I see that the 8 seeding positions contain 7 Americans and that is 7 of the 9 that were in the seedings ranking range with just Kendrick and Yani missing.
So it's really come about for whatever reasons by the lack of other well ranked players, with the exception of Estrella, deciding to compete here. There are 6 other challenger events this week, although just 2 other hard courts ones ( in Turkey and China ). I guess some, eg. Ward and Baker, will be on Davis Cup duty.

Very hard to say a bad game plan from a scoreboard. It is concerning to see them percentages on serve though. Both players struggling to hold serve all match so maybe an extraneous variable involved, such as very windy perhaps?
Courts are slow aparently, but even so for a player whose main weapon is his serve to have stats which are so at odds, is very strange. maybe just one of those days

No consolation, but the the score was actually 6-3 6-2 and theyve taken that score off the 'completed matches' on the scoreboard, not surprised at this because the scoreboard was useless throughout the match, jumping back and forth games, so maybe stats may have been slightly off, who knows... still a shame. Hopefully he can do something in the dubs. Then it looks like a couple of US futures followed by the two $100,000 challengers over there i would have thought
