So far so good for Jonathan, but his quarter-final opponent has a number of wins over top 100 players this year. Eleanor struggled through and for the second successive tournament plays her doubles partner, Antonia Lottner, who slaughtered the top 50 second seed. Eleanor therefore has the chance to avenge her Ratingen defeat.

Evan is through to the doubles semi with Borna Coric, and so is Eleanor (with Lottner).

Boys R2

(8) Jonathan Cornish (GBR) d. Enzo Py (FRA) 6-2 6-2

QF

(4) Konstantin Gerlakh (RUS) v (8) Jonathan Cornish (GBR)

Girls R2

(8) Eleanor Dean (GBR) d. (WC) Ivana Jorovic (SRB) 6-7(4) 6-4 6-3

QF

(8) Eleanor Dean (GBR) v Antonia Lottner (GER)

Wow, great effort, shame not to seal the win in the final but not suprising after an impressive effort in the semis.
