I mentioned that on another thread. She's gone from a WTA qualifier in America to a 10K in Spain. Very odd.

She does have consistent fitness problems though, perhaps it's about stringing a few matches together.

All a bit of a struggle for Anna at the moment  cry

Would be really good if she could return to near her best form.  I don't know how restricted she still is by injury related issues.

Anna got broken to love in the 5th game, had chances to break back in the 6th and has just been broken again in the 7th, so the Spaniard is about to serve for the match.

Recent tweets suggest she is still having injury problems, e.g.

"I actually still have a ruptured ligament!! But that's not what is causing the pain + it should keep healing even while I play."

"MIxed news with the scan...going to play for around 10 more weeks then another scan before making a decision about an operation!"

"Been resting and icing ankle lots...Doubles semis later, me and lucy still haven't played a match together - opponents yesterday went home!"

Clearly not having an easy time of it!
