Boys & Girls: Canadian Open Junior Championships - Grade 1 (Week 35)

This is the main warm-up tournament for the US Open, won by Marcus Willis 3 years ago, and the big 4 (Oliver Golding, Liam Broady, George Morgan and Kyle Edmund) should be in the main draw.

Qualifying starts today and in the Boys' event Luke Bambridge is 3rd seed, and will only have to beat an unranked Canadian tomorrow to make the main draw.

In the Girls event we have no-one directly in the main draw, but Laura Deigman is in tomorrow's final qualifying, and could be joined by Verena Jane Scott and Brielle Koulen, depending on today's results.

The host website ( http://www.tennis-junior-repentigny.com/en/home_en.php ) promises live streaming once the main draw starts on Sunday at 5pm BST. You can work out whether any of the Brits are on the streamed court by checking the oop from Sunday (under Schedule)

In the doubles, Kyle got through to R2 ( L16 ) to join Liam / Oli and George.

Laura Deigman and Brielle Koulen with their respective partners lost in R1 of the girls doubles so it's just the boys now.
