Well, I have to admit I never expected Heather to win this, but boy, did she give the Shrieker a fright! Well done, girl!

Think that performance really summed up Heather's fighting qualities. Great to see Sharapova celebrating in that way at the end, shows how close Hev pushed her.

Laura's got 160 points when you count in qualifying in addition to her R1 win smile

Such a great match by Heather, should give her so much more confidence in how her game is, in many ways more than points against a lesser opponent however welcome they would be.

Now, can she just have easier draws again in the next couple of slams to help get nice points.

100 points for Laura, beating a top 50 player ... yet eclipsed by how Heather played today. All that we knew she was capable of and more.
