Evil draw for Evo:

L32: Dan Evans WR v (2/SE) Denis Istomin (UZB) WR 81 (CH 39 last August)

Istomin won the Samarkand Challenger Final today, though he will have to get used to a new surface quickly because that was played on red clay and probably explains why he was not intending to play Karshi originally.

FFS. It seems that every Brit who plays in challengers get nasty draws at the moment.

Dan plays on the feature court tomorrow 2nd match on not before 10.30am local which is 6.30 am BST.

Lets hope we have some good, if surprising, news to wake up to.

Istomin v Elgin are on Wed's OOP so Evo got beat, hardly surprising.

Not surprising, but the scoreline is a bit shocking:

Given that he has pulled out of Astana it is possible that he picked up an injury.
