Given some of the comments about Jamie being over-ranked and some of the objections to his inclusion in the DC team I thought I'd check what the win/loss was for the various pairings (excl Challengers and the Lux pairing that the Murrays beat in DC).

Back of an envelope first draft: Andy/Jamie (11/6) have a much stronger win/loss than Ross/Colin (9/9) whose record is significantly better than Andy/Ross (3/7)

Yes, while I am not sure I like Andy playing with Jamie they have had the best results of any GB partnershipo in recent times.

And it can't be said Jamie partners Andy always in his best form, singleswise anyway.  Having been partnering him this year at Rotterdam, Indian Wells and here, i.e some of his worst form and 1st round losses.   Lucky charm, not !       The other 2 occasions were Madrid where Andy got through one round and Queens where Andy won the title, both times where they lost their doubles first round.

Actually, in the five times they have played together this year ( excluding Davis Cup ), Andy hasn't once got past the 1st round in both singles and doubles, it being an either or.
