SOmething needs to be done about this 10 years ago all the top under 18's were playing

I am a bit surprised at how many top Juniors are missing, given there's a substantial funding bonus of £1,000 to the winner. The winner used to be guaranteed one or more wildcards into Pro events. I can't see any mention of that this year, and that would need to be at a high level of tournament to be attractive, as with the relatively small pool of players most of our top juniors get them for 10K/25K events anyway.

Just one seed lost today - Nicole Peterson ousted by Kyria Dunford

I still think the winner should be given a Wimbledon Qualifying WC for wimbledon the following year. That would get a few more players playing

Big shocks as defending champion Pippa Horn loses to Ella Taylor, who continues on from a good two weeks in Ireland, and Beth Askew defeats second seed Abbi Melrose

Ella's giantkilling was ended by Kyria Dunford leading to the following semis

(1) Ruth Seaborne v Kyria Dunford
(7) Alicia Barnett v (WC) Beth Askew
