Weirdly, it stuck at 30-30 for a while for me too, then flipped to 5-3 then flipped back to 30-30 - very weird. Hopefully that means she did hold!

From the stats, it looks like Hev did indeed hold serve for 5-3 and then Scheepers held serve as well.

Since this thread has morphed into an athletics one I'll just point out that on the Grandstand court Bruny Surin (Canadian relay 100m gold medallist and world shampionship silver medalist) has just watched one of his daughters lose, but not disgraced as she took Polona Hercog to a second set tiebreak (and had at least one setpoint previously). Hercog plays the winner of this match (stuck again)

Yes, I was just thinking nice of them to finish before Hev so we don't need to keep checking back to find out who she's playing next.

Hev wins 1 & 4

Hercog (2nd seed, WR 40) hit a career high at WR 36 last month having won Bastad WTA then reached the Palermo WTA Final in successive weeks - but those tournaments would have both been on red clay. She is 3-0 v Brits - two 3 set wins against Anne, the most recent in Copenhagen almost exactly a year ago, and one straight sets win against Tara.

Have you found a stream for the qualifying, or is this info from another source?

Sadly no stream as far as I am aware - this article confirms the presence http://www.thestar.com/sports/tennis/article/1034333--bruny-surin-s-daughter-chooses-tennis-over-sprinting

Bally had a breakpoint in both Rezai's opening service games, and converts the second

2*-1

Bally gets into trouble on serve, but saves 3 breakpoints and holds

3-1*
