The first of the doubles results to come through:

QF:  (1) David Rice & Sean Thornley WR 461 defeated Liam Broady & George Morgan WR 1991 by 4 & 4

The rest:

QF:  (WC) Maniel Bains & Alex Golding UNR defeated (WC) Andrew Fiztpatrick & Ben Rogers UNR by 4 & 2

QF:  Ruan Roelofse & Sanam Singh  (RSA/IND) UNR by defeated Matt Short & Jamie Whiteford UNR 1 & 1

Only the top-half SF is of interest to us Brits:

A note from Bladetiger, who was going to go along and watch today:

"Apparently the doubles moved to NTC indoors, delayed singles till 2pm in hope of playing at CLTC, but still raining at mo."

LOL true, though I assume they still have masses of constituency work to do over the summer - I imagine being an MP is an all-consuming job if you're conscientious about it.

Could it be that rain stopped play again? If not, then I'm guessing all the QFs were played simultaneously as Bet365 have no further scores from this event.

Would make sense to play them all at once if there was a threat of further rain.
