Josh Goodall tweeted he's going for his hatrick, I fancy him to make it as well. Certainly it'd be a blow if we dont have a Brit winner, hopefully at least 3 of the semi spots.

We have one semi-finalist for certain (Evo's quarter), you would expect Baker to come through his quarter and either Milton or Rice to win their's. Goodall's quarter is the one with biggest question mark.

As for Goodall himself. He had a good grass season last year but couldn't follow it up so it will be interesting to see how this year goes. You would certainly expect him to have too much for Broady and his second round match looks fairly easy but Benjamin Mitchell would be a tough test in the QFs.

Does anyone know if you can go and watch this tournament as it's in a members only sports club?

I'm pretty sure you can. I remember the question from last year and I think the outcome was that they issue free day passes while the tournament is on.

I sent an e-mail to the club earlier asking about this and got the following reply

"Non-members are welcome-there is no entrance fee.

Richard Burns
Racquets Manager"

I believe that "Josh" of this parish attended last year and have sent him a message asking if he had any problems getting in but he has yet to reply.

Speaking of interesting pairings, just was looking at the County Cup stats and saw that Bamford/Rice had a perfect record. Pretty impressive. Eaton/Salisbury, Auckland/Bloomfield, May/Thornley and the Corries did well, too.

I did always like the Corries.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2R1TMNxPj8
