He has no chance of making US Open qualies. He needed to reach at least the second round here to have a chance and probably the QFs.

Not sure what this says about Boggo's result yesterday but Tatsuma just lost 0 and 2 against Daniel Kosakowski (WR 479)

that's an odd one, could be that Boggo ad Ito knackered each other out as it was a pretty intense match, but in this match both players had 8 bp's, Ito took 1 whilst Kosak took 6!

not sure on the rules, but i think it's underarm. a $5k paycheck so he earnt more than Wardy! (exlcuding LTA bonus) crazy isn't it and once again shows how underpaid tennis players are in general.

Change of opposition for Jamie after De Voest withdrew, they face Alex Bogomolov Jr (who won his maiden ATP title in Atlana last week) and Ernests Gulbis.

Colin and Ross are third match on Grandstand. Jamie and Gilles follow them on. Play starts at 22:00 BST so it will be a long night for anyone wishing to follow these matches.
