it's hard to tell from just scores but seems boggo let himself down on the big moments, 2/13 on BP's in the match and in the TB only won 1 point on serve. was a tough draw of course but you feel that maybe a little more comosure would have seen that score reversed. over the match boggo won 75% abnd 59% on 1st and 2nd serve whch is pretty respectab;e, 15 aces too. just what happened in the breaker?? :(

I only got back in time to follow the last couple of games and read back through the Count's tweets - I see the key stats were picked out here too. It's difficult to say Boggo let himself down there, having won more points than WR 106 and come back from a set down to take him into a 3rd set t/b but those bp conversion stats are a bit shocking. A real pity, since you'd have fancied him to qualify had he won this one.

The stats are the best I have ever read for someone who lost the match (if that makes sense) Gutted for him. He seems to have matched, if not outplayed the world 106 yet, the difference between winning and losing here will be nothing and quite possibly all the way to a win or two in the main draw.
I hope Boggo dosen't get deflated that the rewards for his performances are not coming. If he is able to grit his teeth, qualifying for the US Open may be a very real possiblity on current form. Likewise he could get down on himself and see out the year trying to pick up wins at futures level.
