Boys & Girls: ITF Junior Open Linz - Grade 1 (Week 28)

Luke Bambridge looks to build on his encouraging week in Germany. He starts with the player who beat Joshua Sapwell last week, but is in the same quarter as the strong top seed Patrick Ofner (Trofeo Bonfiglio finalist). He's joined by Evan Hoyt who has the chance to avenge a defeat by his Polish opponent earlier in the year.

Boys R1 (L64)

(11) Luke Bambridge (GBR) v (WC) Dominic Weidinger (AUT)

(14) Maciej Romanowicz (POL) v Evan Hoyt (GBR)

Girls R1 (L64)

Masa Marc (SLO) v Jessica Ren (GBR)

(16) Katy Dunne (GBR) Bye

There should be live scoring of Luke's match at http://www.tennisscores.de/livescore/autspec/livescorer.html  (3rd match on CC1 following Christ and Novak - the first being at 8.30 am BST)

(16) Katy Dunne (GBR) v (Q) that Australian in the Berlin doubles final which Activeboard censors wink

Live scores should be available again for Luke's match on CC2 - second match (after Novak) so probably around 10-10.30am BST

It looks like Luke sustained some sort of injury as I feared from the scoreline, as he and Evan gave a w/o in doubles. Katy and Jess are in the second round of doubles with different partners.
