RE: Week 28 Futures - GB F10 ($10,000) - Frinton (Grass)

Raining at Frinton and it looks like it will be until at least late this afternoon so prospect of play today looks pretty slim.

Tomorrows forecast looks excellent so there won't be any problems catching up.

Oh dear, that's 9 of the last 11 games gone. It did look a bit too good to be true, but still very creditable to have taken the 1st set.

Stop press: He's just got one of the breaks back

Thats a cracking scoreline from Josh, his good form just keeps on going. Edward Corrie looks like he'll be climbing the rankings if playing regular as well.

Josh certainly seems to enjoy Ilkley and Frinton. Let's hope he builds on it this year.

Hopefully Dan makes it an all Brit final

With the head to head heavily favouring Josh 5-0, not dropping a set in them 5 matches, being in maybe the best physical shape he's ever been in and on a 8 match winning streak its gunna be a huge ask for Chris!! Saying that, I'm sure Chris is quite happy to be into the semi final of an event on a grass court so you never know with him, he could bring out some very good tennis.

I would expect Evo to win his semi final although interesting to see Corrie take him to 3 even if the 3rd was a bagel.

I wouldn't read too much into Evo losing the first set. Having to hang around for 6 or 7 hours is pretty horrible.
