The serving stats seem to tell the story:

Bloomers - only 41% 1st serves in, 92% of points won when he did get a 1st serve in, 32% when he didn't

Bachinger - 50% 1st serves in, won just 56% of points when he got a 1st serve in but 78% when he didn't!

He then dropped his service & was unable to convert a number of break points on Bachinger's:  *3-5.  Looks as though he's about to follow Dan out of the first-round exit door. cry

Richard Bloomfield & Simon Stadler (GER) vs (4) Jesse Levine & Vasek Pospisil (USA/CAN) on Scoreboard but all scoreboard stopped - weather or breakdown?

Still no Cox/Milton result.

It has become quite imperative that Josh wins his R1 match, because there could be a severe shortage of "cry" smilies based on these used today and it may take a day or two for those to be replenished  wink
