great win by alex, i was hopeful going to bed, despite that MTF message, just cause amidst looking at the sky, gravel, trees etc i did see at one point Don threw his racquet, so at the least i assumed alex was making life tough for him.
from that report sound like Boggo was a break down in the 1st set and broke back at 5-3, but the other SP was on his own serve. also this is a great line:
Young dropped a shot just over the net. Bogdanovic raced in and flipped the ball back over and past a hard-charging Young
Where did speedy boggo come from!!
obvisuly got to be favs to see off dean martin, but the old crooner shouldn't be underestimated, Boggo's got to go in with the same level of aggression he used to win this one, a QF would be very welcome indeed, as it would allow him to cover off the points this week. Also at challenger level each win means £500 bonus from the LTA which, as he highlighted in the radio interview, can be handy when cash is so tight.

I believe that is called journalistic license. Presumably it translates to Donald Dung hit a woeful drop shot allowing Boggo to stroll into net and flip the ball over a flat footed opponent
Seriously though, very good win
Baker is first on court 5 at 11:00 local time which is 19:00 BST

Congratulations to Boggo on an excellent win over the Wild Card King.
Some more good news from Cali-forn-i-a:
R1: Laurynas Grigelis & Igor Kunitsyn (LTU/RUS) lost to Ilija Bozoljac (SRB) & Ken Skupski by 7-6(3) 4-6 [7-10]
Ken & Bozo will play either Greg Ouellette & Michael Venus (USA/NZL) or, more likely, the fourth seeds, Nicholas Monroe & Artem Sitak (USA/NZL), in the QF. A minimum of 18 points in the bag!

a little bit more from boggo, via the Santa Cruz Sentinel:
Bogdanovic also found his serving to his liking in knocking off seeded American Young.
"After the first set, I got more confident and could see he was a bit down," Bogdanovic said. "I got more aggressive with my serving and shots. I moved the ball around and didn't allow him to dictate."
The first set was a see-saw affair as the players -- both left-handers -- tested his opponent's skill set.
"I had trouble with him being a lefty," Bogdanovic said. "He's got a big serve."
It was a rewarding win, said Bogdanovic, noting a back injury forced him to miss three months last season and drop in the rankings.
"Obviously, I know he's a good player," Bogdanovic said of Young's seed. "It was probably the best result for me this year."

Ken's Tweet from the LTA site:
RT @k_skupski: Very happy right now. Played a great match and WON! Bozo has a monster serve. We won 67 64 10-7. Always nice to win a MTB.
So we're not the only ones who shorten Bozoljac's surname to "Bozo"!
