RE: Week 28 - ITF ($25K) - Woking-Foxhills, UK Hard

Like the posh seats the players get to sit on during the changeovers, and impressed by photo 54 which shows Laura striking the ball with her eyes shut.

So,  tomorrow they are using Court B and Court 2. The Court covered, up until now, by Bet 365 is not being used.
Our girls are playing on Court 2. I shall weep if this is not the court they cover tomorrow biggrin

Guess what ! They are covering Court B - the 2 quarter finals not involving Brits

I believe that's what they call sod's law, JC! furious  I'd almost have put money on it, but I'm not a betting woman. wink

The most annoying thing is that a couple of days ago Court B had the best matches on, but then Bet365 covered Court 1

Mel: "Possibly the worst level of tennis out on the court today. Need to change it for doubles"

I assume that means JoKo won, but you can never be sure with tweets like that.

I assume then its a Diatchenko( impressive today) JoKo semi.
Stanciute is also on the way to an impressive victory in her quarter final match and will play the winner of Laura/Tara's game.

Well done for asking Mel, Phil - I always feel a bit awkward about asking "does that mean you lost then?" but you managed to do it in a nice enough way

Yes, Mel was good enough to reply.
Also latest score from Laura/Tara's match is 3-1.

Per BT twitter:

Laura won 6-1 6-1
JoKo won 6-2 6-4

I don't think either will make the final, thats called an antijinx.
Both Diatchenko who qualified for Wimby and then lost a tight match against Hantuchova and Stanciute who demolished a 25k field a couple of weeks ago are in very good form.
