RE: Week 27 - ITF ($50K) - Waterloo, Canada Clay

Yeah, rereading the draw makes me suspect I was looking at a funny angle earlier! Only one I managed to get right out of the 4 possibilties was Hsu!

It does help if you look at the bracket rather than the player above the qualifier lol

Other Qs in fact play Rossi BRA 372 Glushko ISR 200 4 and Fichman CAN 245

So re-evaluating, thats not a bad draw for Nicola.

Sorry for the mis-information!

L16: RISKE (USA) / SLATER (GBR) defeated ELIE (USA) / JONES (USA) 6-3 1-6 [12-10] smile

Nik's managed to bag herself another decent partner for the doubles.

After eight games against service Nicola survived a set point on HSU's service and then one her own to hold and level the scores 5-5*

That is a great win and will result in a huge ranking boost.
Never seen Nik play so don't know her full potential, but this is further evidence that the college route ain't a bad option.

nik does not play in Uk so have not seen her either! But she was overlooked by Scotland for mhairi brown who is a coach at Craiglockhart in Edinburgh where the tennis Scotland headquarters are!
