anyone know why they are starting this at 4pm. seems kinda bonkers. i guess they think andy will race through his match but still.
Don''t really see that it is at all bonkers. Will no doubt suit some people more and not others, eg. local or travelling a distance to then stay and see the 3 days, I can see a later start suiting plenty folk. No doubt generally better for TV viewers too
It's indoors, isn't it, so isn't going to get stopped due to bad light.
The starting times would clearly have been fixed well before anyone could be certain that Andy would be playing.

Not a good start from Wardy but at least he is on the scoreboard now.
In the tie that decides who the winners will play, Belarus no. 1 Ignatik beat Hungarian no. 2 Kellner, but it took him 5 sets.
Btw I may have given a misleading impression in the preview I wrote on p.2 (now corrected) - if we win this, we would be away in September if we play Belarus but at home if we play Hungary.
