Not looking too clever for them at the moment:  2-4*. hmm

Yes!  He did it!  What a difference an hour can make:  home & dry by 7-6(6) 6-3! biggrin

Could this be the first mixed doubles match under the roof?....If it keeps on raining of course.

How's the weather looking ?  If for instance they look like being able to complete one, but just one of the Court 1 women's QFs, surely they would shift the other one to Centre Court in preference to Jamie's double match ?

At least the two matches on Centre Court are from the same half of the draw, which someone was trying to argue with me before ( on another forum ) never happended at the QF stage.

Indy:  according to the most recent post on the Beeb's live Wimbledon blog, "1614: I bring good news. The court covers are being deflated around the grounds, and it looks like we might just get some outside play in after all. I leave you in the hands of Piers Newbery, who will tell you more... ".

And for the record, Jamie's mixed doubles match is still showing on the home page of the Wimbledon site as "upcoming"! wink

Play about to begin court 1.

I would guess they would be happy getting 1 women's QF done on court 1 and then if necessary play the last QF on centre later this evening
