We have two and half British pairs in action here.

 

J. Murray / Stakhovsky v Benneteau / Tsonga

Delgado / Ward (WC) v Melo / Soares

Fleming / Hutchins (WC) v Aspelin / Hanley

 

Fleming and Hutchins are due to play tomorrow.

R1:  (WC) Jamie Delgado & James Ward lost to (3) Marcelo Melo & Bruno Soares (BRA/BRA) by 7-6(6) 4-6 [6-10]

So near & yet so far - & a scratch pairing, too... cry

BLSP with Col & Ross a set up (7-6(5)) against Aspelin & Hanley.  I hope they can keep the momentum going when play resumes tomorrow.

 Unfortunately not - Aspelin & Hanley have raced through the second set 6-1

Sadly not having lost the first 5 games in set 2. They managed to hold the next game but lost the set 6-1

Jamie M and Stak are also a break down in set 1 JM/SS 1-3* Bennetteau/Tsonga
