Not knowing anything about who was really showing mental strength or confidence at whatever times on the day, I'll just say that looks as if it's been a really pretty good performance overall from Evo.
Certainly looks as if he played much better than he had seemed to be recently.

Disappointed that Evo lost, particularly from a winning position - he hammered Dimitrov twice in juniors (lost just 6 games in 2 matches, including a Grand Slam) so should have had a psychological edge.
Young beats Cox 6 - 1 7 - 5 ( to be fair Young tried to help out by flinging in his only 3 DFs of the match in the final game and Dan had a break back point )
Anderson beats Slabinsky 7 - 5 6 - 3 ( his service points ended 44 - 6, Slabba had very good first serve points won stats, between the two when their first serves in they won 63 / 71 points, I suspect it won't be the greatest spectacle at Eastbourne today ! )
James Ward about to start, Tipsy serving first. Tough match and will be hard to build on last week but with confidence high, who knows what might happen.
